I think that the message of the author is that this universe is about balance. There is life and death, destruction and birth, and beauty where there was once terror. He talks about the world trade center and when he first did I was actually kind of ticked off. There reason for that was because I felt that the didn’t respect the people and the lives that died that day and that he was just commenting on how beautiful the buildings around it were. However he soon showed his message by saying that with loss came new life.
